Mulled Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 TBSP Ella's Pantry Mulling Spice
  • 3 Liters Apple Cider (or juice)
  • 2-4 TBSP Organic Cane Sugar (Optional)
  • 6-8 Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks
  • 6-8 Star Anise

Take the mulling spice and tie it into cheese cloth or pour it into a tea ball. Put the apple cider or juice and mulling spice into a crock pot. Simmer for 4-6 hours and let the aroma fill your home. Add the organic cane sugar to sweeten to your taste (optional). Ladle into mugs and add one cinnamon stick to stir and a star anise as a garnish.
