Cardamom Black

Black cardamom has a strong, smokey taste that is quite different from traditional green cardamom. Cardamom is great in a variety of baked goods. The most popular and most traditional use for cardamom, however, is in curry and tandoori dishes. Use with cumin and other spices to add different layers of flavour.

Remove seeds from pods grind seeds before adding to baked goods recipes or curry blends. Place crushed pods seeds in muslin bag for tea infusions.
