Sumac Ground

Sumac adds an authentic Middle Eastern touch to all kinds of dishes, this spice has stood the test of time and taste as a unique seasoning with a bright, tangy and vinegary flavor like no other. Ground from dried sumac berries, it has an intense purple-red hue and an aroma similar to lemon and vinegar. 

Sumac is used to flavour marinades for kebabs, as a garnish on hummus, and in salads such as tabbouleh and fattoush. Ground Sumac adds a wonderful red colour and good lemon flavour to roast chicken.
